SQL Saturday #105 & SSIS Pre-Conference Update

I cannot believe the level of interest that SQL Saturday #105 has generated in the SQL Server Community. Microsoft will be there for the Technical Launch of SQL Server 2012 in Ireland.

In fact, this interest has created more challenges and opportunities for the committee, and I felt it important to let you know what has happened so far.

Incredibly, 350 have registered to attend and we are at capacity. We maintain a waiting list of people hoping for a place. If you have registered but cannot attend, please return your space to us for others.

If you are already registered to attend, you will have received an email with some updates such as the new scheduling tool and room reservation at The Hilton Hotel, Charlemont   Place, Dublin 2.

While space is limited for the main conference, we still have space at the pre-conference event, SSIS Performance Design Patterns with Matt Masson, on Friday, March 23rd. Matt is a Software Engineer on the Microsoft SSIS Product Development Team.  This is a one day deep-dive that is a must for anyone involved in designing or implementing SSIS Solutions.  Click here for more information and to register.

This pre-conference was selected from feedback, given at the SQL Server Ireland User Group and SQL Immersion events, that the Irish SQL Server community wanted deep-dive sessions on SSIS. Do no let the opportunity to attend be wasted; space is disappearing fast.

    Hi Niall,

Great to see SQL Server Community in Ireland going so strongly. You’ve done an AMAZING job since that first session. Well done!
