Bob Duffy presents a SQL 2012 Always-On Deep Dive

Always On offers a huge leap forward in terms of High Availability. Bob will present a demo-based introduction to the high availability changes in SQL 2012 emphasising key features and benefits.

Bob Duffy works as a Database/Solution Architect in Dublin, Ireland. He has worked with SQL Server since 1997, and been designing database solutions for 20 years. Bob has architected more than 250 systems during his career, and worked on some of the largest data warehouses in Western Europe. Bob is a part of a small group of Microsoft Certified Architect’s for SQL server (aka SQL Ranger), as well as a cerified SSAS Maestro. Currently, Bob is helping customers in Ireland with enterprise SQL Design, Consolidation, Performance Tuning and Business Intelligence at the Prodata SQL Centre of Excellence in Dublin.

The event will be held in the Auditorium on the Ground Floor of the Microsoft Atrium Building Block B at Carmenhall Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18 (close to the Sandyford Luas stop). Limited underground parking is available at the back of the building
